Finding the solution to complex problems is where my passion lies and with my experience in business analysis, it was easy to spot an obvious inefficiency when scaling teams.
As my teams grew, I realised the challenge wasn’t just finding candidates with the right skills - it was also about finding the right cultural fit. Poor alignment in values and team dynamics often led to high turnover, which rapidly reduced productivity - the exact opposite of what we aimed to achieve.
One of the key drivers of this issue was the overwhelming volume of applications for each role and the lack of an efficient way to surface meaningful candidate insights.
As a result Omveo was formed, to help hiring teams assess all candidates efficiently, effectively & fairly - while ensuring that both skills and cultural fit are recognised in the process.

Over the years, as I worked with tech and grew a consultancy, I gained a deep understanding of what truly makes someone exceptional in a role. My passion has always been in finding people who can bring value to the company — people who offer much more than just a set of skills defined on a resume.
What I discovered is that the key to success isn’t just about ticking off a checklist of qualifications; it’s about recognizing the qualities that truly matter. This approach became the secret ingredient to our company’s growth and success.
It became clear that talent isn’t just defined by what’s on paper. It’s about finding people who might excel in unexpected ways and ensuring they’re not overlooked for lacking one specific skill. And that’s what sparked the creation of Omveo.
